Hollywood actor Sean Bean tells the story of Waterloo, one of history's most decisive battles.

Sean«s progress of revelation is inspired by his own experiences of playing Napoleonic soldier Richard Sharpe in TV films based on Bernard Cornwell»s best-selling novels. In the programmes he draws on the eye-notice accounts of soldiers who fought at Waterloo to tell the story of the spectacular events of 18 June 1815 as they were proficient by the convention soldiers who fought it.

He pieces together the almanac of the affray and visits some of the fabulous places where the product was pronounced, including the buildings at Hougoumont which witnessed some of the heaviest fighting. He also meets descendants of some of the soldiers who fought at Waterloo, to originate how they muse on the achievements of their ancestors.

1) Shard 1
Sean Bean begins his progress of revelation at Chatham in South East England, where a ginormous bunch of life enthusiasts are rehearsing to take shard in a mountainous re-enactment of the affray to bring credit to oneself its 200th anniversary in June 2015. From here he travels to Belgium to on the locale of the affray. He meets historian Professor Saul David, who describes how the British Overall Master Wellington convenience to dial the forewarning of his fantabulous competitive, the French Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte.

In Waterloo Sean stands with historian Professor Saul David where the British and French infantry first clashed at Waterloo. He then travels to Yorkshire in England to observe the r played by cavalry at Waterloo. He meets cavalry experts Alan Larsen and David Blackmore who simplify the roles played by flashlight and fat cavalry units. At the Regal Armouries in Leeds Sean sees examples of genuine cavalry sword used during the affray and discovers the training handbook used to lay the groundwork for horsemen for affray.
