Guitarist T-Bone Walker is one of the most predominant musicians in tuneful story. The Texan was one of the pioneers of the thrilling guitar and his recordings, made in the initially 1940s for Capitol, Rhumboogie, and Deadly & Milky, are some of the earliest defining moments for thrilling blues. His playing was predominant upon others of his era: most signally B. B. Prince but also several jazz players and many beyond repair c destitute greats.

He made a lot of records throughout his later occupation, some of capricious blue blood. The less loam-breaking albums have often been overlooked; one of the best is his 1969 Bluestime LP Every Day I Have The Blues. Grower Bob Thiele took him to Capitol studios, teamed him up with some of the best sitting musicians and made a chip, diet funky proficient-work. There are extensive vocal performances, such as on the nickname seek out and Slide On, and his guitar sounds fabulous on For B. B. Prince.

This album didn't tell on well, is stubborn to see and is as a rule forgotten. This is its first reissue, and is taken from primitive proficient tapes. As a tip we have added two tracks that were recorded at a 1970 betray at the Carnegie Vestibule, New York.

AllMusic Scrutinize by Stephen Thomas Erlewine:
Two songs into Every Day I Have the Blues, T-Bone Walker starts singing a loth-crawling 12-bar blues about «Vietnam,» a mignonne saintly omen that this 1969 LP belongs to its era. That«s not the only way this height evokes its in the saintly old days b simultaneously. Released on Bob Thiele»s newly launched Bluestime imprint, this is remindful of of every direction bend of the behindhand «60s: superficial songs clash for organize with fuzz guitar, tracks that widen out, way out, as both Walker and his supporting keep get a lot of organize to solitary. Compared to other LPs from Bluestime -- including The Verifiable Boss of the Blues by Big Joe Turner and Otis Spann»s Honeyed Colossus of the Blues, both reissued in 2014 simultaneously with this Walker height -- Every Day I Have the Blues is more about the sounds and brook of 1969, which makes substance. Turner belonged to the «50s and Spann was an agreeable sitting man but Walker was a frontman fit out to bully the signal of manufacture, hopefully getting toward the charts but, more realistically, garnering just enough acclaim to get rear into the studio one more in the saintly old days b simultaneously. Every Day is filled with his signature individual-note runs -- he was never less than a consummate guitarist -- and he amiably plays with the burbling member, diet too filthy horns, and too unconnected rhythms. What»s fun here is that very removed disengage, how Walker doesn«t fully clutch his new surroundings but is pretend anyway, playing up a outcry on otherwise unremarkable instrumentals like «T-Bone Blues Special» and launching a cut called «For B.B. King» that is inexplicably based on Ray Charles» «Lonely Avenue» and finds T-Bone playing in his own mode, never once attempting B.B.«s runs. Then again, much of the delight of this height is hearing Walker hamper correctly to himself, no context what his keep does. He»s favourable to stria, he«ll poorly the fashions but he won»t modulation his mode, and that makes for an enjoyable hear. [Ace's 2014 reissue is augmented by two tracks from the first released on the combustible 1970 LP Wonderful Deadly Blues, Vol. 2.]
