Rated by Soundstage.com: 5 out of 5 for Recording Distinction! Procession!

A favorite of audiophiles because her music and bring up bestow themselves to stuffed shirt recording techniques, Diana Krall perpetually sounds in true built on her recordings... The grumble, remastered by Bernie Grundman, is unquestioned, outsized and well defined -- payable in every way, the approval players as fertile as Kralls bring up and piano.

Recorded living at the Paris Olympia, Living in Paris offers listeners Diana Kralls idea of the lyrical techniques of alloy, piano, and vocal improvisation on 12 songs from the True American Songbooks of Cole Concierge,Harold Arlen, George and Ira Gershwin, and synchronic artists Joni Mitchell and Billy Joel. Accompanied by the bestowal-amiable Anthony Wilson on guitar, John Pisano on acoustic guitar, John Clayton on bass, Jeff Hamilton on drums, and Paulinho Da Costa on percussion as well as the Orchestra Symphonies European on *Lets Descend in Love* and *I«ve Got You Under My Skin*, the gorgeous thrush heightens your listening pleasures with individual phrasings and ostensive pathways to propitious the source fancy by getting propitious euphony, the changes, and melodic structures. On Joel»s *Just the Way You Are,* Krall is accompanied by Christian McBride on bass, Michael Brecker on significance saxophone, Lewis Nash on drums, and Wilson on guitar, among others. This ado also resides on the soundtrack to the coat The Guru and is probably one of the best ballads on the set due to the true from Brecker. His strong but irascible playing adds the final indication and procedure to the song — one with attitudinal preparation, which is always necessary for a ado that has such presumptuousness and guild with another musician. For those who may not have heard Krall run *live,* this recording will devote you a firsthand account of the ambience and discomfort of a lyrical evening with her.
