In the Trail of the Moon

Body Of Laws Documentary published by David Sington in 2007 - English narration

IN THE TRAIL OF THE MOON is an intime epic, which vividly communicates the audacious and the risk, the conceit and the passion, of this rare era in American depiction. Between 1968 and 1972, the age watched in awe each at all times an American spacecraft voyaged to the Moon. Only 12 American men walked upon its exterior and they abide the only altruist beings to have stood on another age. Now for the first, and very the last, at all times, IN THE TRAIL OF THE MOON combines archival materialistic from the beginning NASA blur footage, much of it never before seen, with interviews with the surviving astronauts, including Jim Lovell (Apollo 8 and 13), Dave Scott (Apollo 9 and 15), John Immature (Apollo 10 and 16), Gene Cernan (Apollo 10 and 17), Mike Collins (Apollo 11), Sensation Aldrin (Apollo 11), Alan Bean (Apollo 12), Edgar Mitchell (Apollo 14), Charlie Duke (Apollo 16) and Harrison Schmitt (Apollo 17). The astronauts rise as striking, humorous, hysterical and very altruist.

A reviewer:
«I have seen many of the above-mentioned documentaries on the depiction of the American set out program, the Apollo program in particular. Where this documentary exceeds all whilom efforts was in revealing the kindness of the astronauts. Most other documentaries sharply defined unclear on the diplomacy which motivated and applied hurdles worsted in the American set out program. David Sington brilliantly uses only the astronauts voices for revelation of facts and more with newly released footage from NASA, as well as a lot of footage we've all seen before. Because of the gratis control given to the astronauts in the interviews, you see many sides of each revealed. For as it happens, Mike Collins (who has heretofore almost never been interviewed) reveals wonderful humor and joy in his accomplishments. You repossess out more about their worries and fears, how they look backside on their m and what they were sensible at the at all times. They are all revealed as pleasingly guys with whom you would want to allot an afternoon. Strangely gone, but it works well in the end, was Armstrong. He gives purposes no interviews. In a way, having everyone else talk about him is maybe better than him talking.»
